Winch Motor Reversing Relays, Solenoids and Switches

To safely install a Lodar wireless remote control on a electric winch we recommend you install an Albright battery isolator which can be seen in our wiring diagram section under ‘Support‘. This is because winch solenoids can stick in operation (resulting in the winch not stopping) so turning off the Lodar will disconnect the power supply and stop it instantly.

The Heavy Duty winch solenoids are branded Albright solenoids manufactured in England.

The switches for are for receiver mounting and allow manual operation of the Lodar outputs and multiple other options of interlocks and switching. Please ask for details.
