All UK orders placed before 4:00 pm will be dispatched that same day*, international orders placed before 11:30 GMT will be dispatched that same day*. In the unlikely event that we don’t have your item in stock at our premises, it will be dispatched from Lodar UK with delivery lead time of 7 – 10 days from receipt of order, unless otherwise stated. Lodar Actus and air systems have a delivery lead time of up to 21 days from receipt of order as they are stocked in Lodar USA. If in doubt, please ask. Hetronic delivery times vary, so please ask.
Royal Mail tracked 24 hr service is used for UK orders, and they only attempt to deliver Friday orders to a residential address on a Saturday. The Royal Mail do not deliver to industrial estates and businesses on a Saturday unless you pay for a Saturday delivery.
FedEx Priority are used for Bulky UK and ROW deliveries and they delivery on weekdays Monday through to Friday.
European EU Delivery
Since the 31st December 2020, all parcels sent to EU countries from the UK are now subject to customs clearance, and since July 2021, under certain circumstances, may be liable to duties and VAT. ELP Engineering ship all parcels to the EU using the incoterm DAP (duties and taxes payable by the customer in their country). The price you pay at checkout with elpengineering.co.uk is the list price only, without VAT or duties.
DAP Incoterm means you are responsible for taxes and import duties into your country.
If you are within the EU and wish to have DDP incoterms (duties, customs charges and taxes payed to ELP Engineering ltd, please contact us and we will use our EBay Account to process them.
Within the UK, VAT is charged at 20%.
Rest of World Delivery (ROW)
Your shipment may be subject to customs clearance, liable to duties and VAT. ELP Engineering ship all parcels to the ROW using the incoterm DAP (duties and taxes payable by the customer in their country). The price you pay at checkout with elpengineering.co.uk is the list price only, without VAT or duties.
DAP Incoterm means you are responsible for taxes and import duties into your country.
Some countries require additional documentation such as certificates of origin, etc which we will advise on, and charge at cost with an admin fee. Obtaining the documentation takes time and will delay the shipment.

Inside the UK
Free shipping on all UK orders greater than £60 (ex VAT) and shipped with a 24 hr tracked delivery service.
UK orders less than £60 (ex VAT) incur a shipping charge of £5 + VAT and shipped with a 24 hr tracked delivery service.
Saturday delivery to the UK is offered where available.
Outside the UK
Our prices to ship outside of the UK start from £24.50, and vary depending on your location. The true cost of shipping can be found once you place your order and input your details. We do not profit from the shipping cost, it is normally the same as we are charged.
You are welcome to collect parcels from us and we will ship it ‘EX WORKS’ and you schedule a collection from us with your chosen courier or intermediary.
With EX WORKS we will assist with providing electronic copies of the invoice and labelling the parcels at not extra cost.
Who do we use?
We use some of the top carrier companies in the world, although you can use your own carrier to collect the order. Our main carriers are FedEx for international and Royal Mail for the UK. FedEx collect at lunchtime and the Royal Mail in the afternoon. For all other International shipments, costs are clearly marked on the checkout page. Please make sure the ship to address you type during checkout is correct. We are not responsible for any wrong or un-deliverable addresses.
All shipments for UK Delivery are dispatched by the Royal Mail Postal service or FedEx Priority with the aim to deliver next day, depending on location and time of order, with the option to upgrade to the Royal Mail or FedEx Saturday delivery.
All shipments to the EU are sent FedEx Priority, with an expected delivery within 2 – 5 days depending on location and time of order. Please contact us for accurate delivery times.
All shipments to North America are sent FedEx Priority, with an expected delivery within 2 – 3 days depending on location and time of order. Please contact us for accurate delivery times.
All shipments to countries not mentioned above have varying delivery times, so please contact us for accurate delivery times.

Orders are generally shipped on the day of full payment or latest next day depending on when payment is received; all deliveries will require a signature on delivery.
