Our ELP plug and play kit uses the Premium Lodar waterproof radio remote control system, built in the UK.
It uses the ultra stable Lodar narrow band technology to provide uninterrupted use.
It has everything you need to wirelessly control a Famonville, Nooteboom or Broshuis Rear Steer Trailer.
The 7 pin plug connects into the 7 pin trailer socket on the trailer, and uses the Lodar Remote Control to turn the pump on, and move the steering system.
The receiver keeps the IP55 waterproof rating because of the components we install.
For circuit protection we install a 10A automotive fuse inside the receiver.
Mounting is with 4 mounting holes using the supplied stainless steel A2 grade fasteners.
Please choose from two options:
- No Self Centre – This kit only steers left and right and requires manual alignment of the axles for road travel
- Self Centre – This kit steers left and right and has a third button to automatically align the axles for road travel if the trailer is fitted with the self alignment system

This system integrates into the standard wiring plug for the wired wanderlead control, we will provide you with details for you to check that your socket is correctly wired.
This system requires the trailer to be in fully working condition, and not have any ABS faults. It only works when the system air pressure reaches the required trailer pressure.
Their are two sockets used on the trailers, 12N ( normal 7 pin trailer socket) and 12S ( Auxillary 7 pin socket), please see pictures below so you can match it to your trailer.
