Lodar have changed radio chipsets over the years, starting with the Legacy chipsets and since 2016 the TI Chipset.
The model number denotes the chipset used with the exception of model numbers starting with LS, in which case contact us.
Note:
For a brief period from April 2023 all Lodar transmitters have the model number displayed in the top right corner of the sticker, starting with TX. You need to use the ‘Lodar P/N’ when re-ordering handsets if it starts with a 9xxxxx. Serial numbers of these systems start around 59500, if in doubt ask.
Legacy Chipset Standard 60m Range – 90nnn, 92nnn and 96nnn model numbers – Common fitment
The frequency is denoted in the part number following a ‘-‘, e.g., a 92100-3 is Frequency 3.
Lodar use two frequencies, and they are frequency 3 or 8.
Frequency 3 is standard UK, Europe and ROW optional USA.
Frequency 8 is USA and optional ROW.
The transmitter style which use can use these are:
Mini, Standard and IP transmitters.

Legacy Chipset long 300m Range – 91nnn, 93nnn and 97nnn model numbers – Rare fitment
The frequency is denoted in the part number following a ‘-‘, e.g., a 93204-2 is Frequency 2.
Lodar use 15 frequencies, and they are numbered 1 to 15, and they are used worldwide.
Our stock frequency is 2 for the shelf systems.
The transmitter style which use can use these are:
Mini, Standard and IP Transmitters
These Receivers have a red seal in the clear lid
TI Chipset 11nnnn , 22nnnn, 23nnnn and 33nnnn model numbers
These systems don’t have different frequencies, they use only one which is denoted as the ‘TI’ frequency, sometimes seen on the transmitter logo.
The transmitter style which use can use these are:
Mini, Standard, Slim and IP transmitters
These Receivers have a blue seal in the clear lid
For new systems we sell, unless asked otherwise, we will ship the following by default:
USA:
60m range – we’ll dispatch frequency 8.
300m range – we’ll dispatch our default frequency 2.
UK, Canada and the rest of the World:
60m range – we’ll dispatch frequency 3.
300m range – we’ll dispatch our default frequency 2.
Replacement Lodar transmitters and receivers
The replacement transmitter or receiver will have a different model number than a system installed on your vehicle, so please search on your part number, and choose the replacement part on the webpage.

Transmitter Identification
An identification silver label is on the back of every transmitter sold. It contains the serial number and model number.
The model number on the label may differ from the replacement part, and it denotes the frequency after a ‘-‘.

Receiver Identification
An identification silver label is on the front lid of every receiver sold. It contains the serial number and model number.
The model number on the label may differ from the replacement part, and it denotes the frequency after a ‘-‘.

Missing Lodar identification labels
If your identifications labels are missing, then the correct replacement part can you determined by taking the lid off the receiver and providing us with the details on the label on the board. Please contact us for advice on sending pictures.
